Name: Kendra Cornia

Title: Credit Manager

Hired: November, 2020

Degree: Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Tarleton State University

How You Got the Job: “Business is something that’s just always been interesting to me and it just made sense to get into this field. So, I went to Sheridan College in Wyoming for two years, and then transferred down to Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas.

I met my husband in Texas and he moved me to Randolph, Utah to live on his family ranch.  A few years later, Hose and Rubber was hiring for an Accounts Payable position. I sent in my application and was hired!”

Hobbies: “I’m married and have two kids, a two-year-old and a five-year-old. I also own my own business and work with my husband’s business. He owns a trucking company and I own an online women’s clothing boutique. I’ve been doing that for a few years now and it’s just something I enjoy. I’ve always wanted to own my own business, and this was an easy way for me to do it!”

On Getting Promoted In Just One Week: “I was lucky enough to get the Accounts Payable position and then they opened up the Credit Management position. Maybe a week after I was hired for the Accounts Payable position, Paul called me and let me know that the other position was open. It was pretty cool how it all happened, and I definitely think that this position was a better fit.”

On Duties of the Job: “It’s a lot of talking to customers and a lot of balancing customer’s credit needs.  I handle pretty much anything to do with the customer’s account.”

On the Hardest Part of the Job: “The hardest part of the job, it’s not really that hard, but when a lot of people are calling at once it gets a little overwhelming at times. But I wouldn’t say it’s hard; it’s just a lot sometimes.”

On Why Hose and Rubber Stands Out Amongst Competitors: “Honestly, the services and the products that we supply are high quality. The team at Hose and Rubber really makes you strive to be better every day, and the quality of our products speak for themselves. We care so much about the company and the growth of the company and that really reflects in our day-to-day jobs.”

On Working at Hose and Rubber Supply: “I get to work with great coworkers and I love getting to know our customers. I talk to quite a few people on the phone every day and that’s pretty cool. This is probably, truly, the best place I’ve ever worked. Everyone is so friendly. I have a great boss and he has great bosses above him. I’m just so thankful and blessed to work for such an amazing company.”
