[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Three Hose & Rubber employees recently completed their AS9100D Lead Auditor certification after attending and passing a course developed by Omnex Inc.

AS9100 is the internationally recognized quality management standard specifically written for the aerospace industry; it is based on the ISO 9001 quality management system (QMS) standard. Compliance with the specification is confirmed through a complex auditing and certification process. A five-day course was held in San Jose, California and covered all of the areas within the AS9100D standard that a lead auditor must know when conducting an audit. Special emphasis was placed on management’s role in promoting a successful quality management system and the importance of identifying and documenting processes within an organization.

As Hose & Rubber moves forward with its certification, these new lead auditors will play a vital role in guiding the GMS divisions QA efforts. We are dedicated to the principles set forth in the standard by satisfying our customers needs, delivering quality products and continually improving our operations.
